Full eyebrows are now hot! Who doesn’t want them? The recent thick eyebrow beauty trend was a hit with Hollywood and Bollywood celebs. They are still sporting killer looks with bushy and untamed brows this year. And, if you can carry it off, it works! Dark and thick eyebrows frame your eyes better, making your face more bold and beautiful.
Remember actress, Audrey Hepburn’s killer stare in the movies?
Those bold eyebrows helped make her piercing eyes more expressive and stand out.
Did you notice?
Bold and thick eyebrows have made a comeback!
Why not? Eyebrows are an outstanding attribute, next to only the eyes and lips. Brows enhance your emotional expressions, your eyes, cheeks and provide facial recognition.
Here are some ways you can grow eyebrow hair – so go get those killer brows!
Castor oil nourishes hair follicles because it is rich in proteins, vitamins and antioxidants. It also stops microorganisms that hinder growth. Massage 2 drops of castor oil into your eyebrows daily before bedtime. Add some to your hair oil too!
Olive oil promotes hair growth because it is rich in Vitamin E, and it helps thicken and darken hair. Olive oil is naturally anti-greying; massage it on your eyebrows daily. You can dab a drop using a cotton bud (Q-tip) or mix it with castor oil.
Full-cream milk is a very effective way to get fuller eyebrows. Plus it softens the delicate skin around the eyes. Simply dip a Q-tip in creamy milk and rub it on your eyebrows.
Aloe Vera Gel
When there is too much sebum (usually in oily skin types), hair growth slows down. Apply pure aloe directly on your eyebrows, to cut any excessive oiliness, and watch them grow thick and lush.
One of the best homemade remedies for thickening brows is a fenugreek pack. Grind some soaked fenugreek seeds into a fine paste and mix some almond or olive oil into it. Massage it in gently and leave in overnight or at least 20 minutes. Wash off with warm water.
Lavender, Rosemary, Thyme, Sandalwood, and Lemon essential oils mixed together with a carrier oil like coconut or olive oil, can work wonders to make hair grow faster, have more colour and be thicker. Massage it into your brows daily, before bedtime.
Eggs are wonderful for hair-health. Using a cotton swab, add some yolk to your brows to darken, moisturize, and help the brow hair grow faster.
Vaseline (petroleum jelly)
Petroleum jelly adds moisture and nutrients to the hair. Vaseline is another super-easy way to keep your hair on your eyebrows looking healthy and dense.
The healthy secret of thicker and more beautiful eyebrows lies in your diet. Eat right to make sure your body gets enough essential minerals, proteins and vitamins. Eat foods that are rich in magnesium, silica, biotin, zinc, sulphur and vitamin B6
Or, supplement with vitamins and more if you need to.
Shaping Thick Eyebrows
Once you have grown your thick eyebrows till they look lush, you can shape them according to your eyes and face contours. While threading and plucking eyebrows one hair at a time is more accurate for shaping, as if your beautician or beauty expert waxes off too much hair, you cannot do much about it.
If you were born with very thin eyebrows ask a makeup artist or a beauty expert to help you. They can transform your eyebrows into looking naturally bold and trendy. And if you don’t believe us, just ask:
