Step 1: Set Up Your Account

Sign Up: Type your Email, Username (store name), and Password and Click Get Started! You can sign up with the same email (like Gmail) as your Zotezo partner account. Earn by social sharing: Open your FREE Zotezo store: zotezo.com/partners/

Activate account: You will receive a Welcome to MailChimp email to activate your new account.

Verify your Domain: If you have a domain, you need to verify it first. You will need to provide a URL for your website when you sign up. If you do not have a website, you can use a free blog or your social media channel, or a personal profile page.

Step 2: Set Up & Build Your Lists

Navigate to the Lists page. Create different email lists by importing contacts from a Google account, Google drive or import a contacts file to MailChimp. Choose Import and then Integrated Service, or Download an Excel file. Advanced developers can use the MailChimp API to add a list of subscribers.

Get organised!

It is best to first create one master list. It makes sending newsletters, tracking and managing subscribers easy. You can avoid duplicates, manage unsubscribes quickly and run multiple automated campaigns effectively. After creating your master list, you can create multiple groups or segments in your list. Then select and add or import a spreadsheet of subscribers to different groups in your list.

For example: Promote your Zotezo store using MailChimp for various segments like Influencer, Expert, Partner, Men, Women, Baby Care, Elderly Care, etc.

Multiple lists are useful only if you know what segment your users belong to. Otherwise, stick to the master list.

 

Step 3: Design Your Email Templates

After set up you can add your product, create a layout, text, colours, background, and fonts within the design content template. Here you can upload images from your folders or e-store URL. Save your templates by different names.

Step 4: Create Your First Campaign

After creating group lists and your first email template, you are ready to send your first newsletter to one of your lists. Navigate to the Campaigns page to build your first campaign and design your landing page – the webpage(s) where your readers will land after clicking an image, a button or link.

Create a Landing Page: Just like the email templates, you can create several types of landing page templates. Most landing pages fulfill short term goals. Some are for expanding your contacts lists and others are for displaying special offers, promotions, or services. But they are all easy to create and look attractive using Mailchimp.

Customize Signup or Subscriber Forms: This is another way to grow your lists. After landing on your site, you can add subscribers to a group list at signup – Forms do this automatically! This is how you can create custom sign-up forms:

  • Embed a Form on your website’s footer or sidebar.
  • Use effective Pop-ups to grab the user’s attention.
  • Share your form by posting links anywhere via social media, IM, forums so people can sign up from any device.

Remember: Test a new campaign out before sending it to users.

 

Step 5: Integrate Social Networks

  1. Navigate to the campaigns page.

  4. Use the same templates from your email campaigns to ensure the brand is consistent.
