Respiratory Diseases (Viscid or Excessive Mucus)

The most common side effects of Acocontin 75mg Tablet CR are – Heartburn, Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Constipation, Fever, Muscle weakness
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while using Acocontin 75mg Tablet CR
Do not use Acocontin 75mg Tablet CR if you are allergic to – Ambroxol
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Acocontin 75mg Tablet CR.

Acocontin 75mg Tablet CR contains – Ambroxol
Ambroxol is a mucoactive drug with several properties including secretolytic and secretomotoric actions that restore the physiological clearance mechanisms of the respiratory tract which play an important role in the body’s natural defence mechanisms.
Dosage of Acocontin 75mg Tablet CR
The dosage of Acocontin 75mg Tablet CR depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.
Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.
Overdose of Acocontin 75mg Tablet CR
If you forget to take a dose of Acocontin 75mg Tablet CR, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.
If you notice any unusual reaction in your body after taking this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or call your local medical emergency number.
Overdose symptoms – Vomiting, headache, hallucinations, blurred vision, changes in heart rate.

It takes about 30 minutes to 1 hour to show the effect of the medicine.

Effect of medication lasts for an average of 18 to 20 hours.
