AF Kit 1000 mg/750 mg/150 mg Tablet is used for the treatment or prevention of the following disease(s):

The most common side effects of AF Kit 1000 mg/750 mg/150 mg Tablet are – Nausea, Vomiting, Abdominal Pain, Diarrhoea, Allergy

Do not use AF Kit 1000 mg/750 mg/150 mg Tablet if you are allergic to – Azithromycin, Ornidazole, Fluconazole

How AF Kit 1000 mg/750 mg/150 mg Tablet works

AF Kit 1000 mg/750 mg/150 mg Tablet contains – Azithromycin, Ornidazole, Fluconazole

Azithromycin binds to a ribosomal subunit of susceptible bacteria, blocking peptide translocation and inhibiting RNA-dependent protein synthesis. Drug concentrates in phagocytes, macrophages, and fibroblasts, which release it slowly and may help move it to infection sites.

Ornidazole improves the paitaint’s condition by killing the infection causing bacteria & inhibiting the growth of microorganism.

Fluconazole works by stopping the growth of Candida.

Dosage of AF Kit 1000 mg/750 mg/150 mg Tablet

The dosage of AF Kit 1000 mg/750 mg/150 mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.

Overdose of AF Kit 1000 mg/750 mg/150 mg Tablet

If you forget to take a dose of AF Kit 1000 mg/750 mg/150 mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interaction

Drug :- antacids that contain aluminum or magnesium: Possibly decreased peak blood azithromycin level, but extent of absorption is unchanged.

carbamazepine, cyclosporine, phenytoin, terfenadine drugs metabolized by P-450 cytochrome system: Possibly increased blood levels of these drugs.

digoxin: Possibly increased blood digoxin level.

dihydroergotamine, ergotamine: Possibly severe peripheral vasospasm and abnormal sensations acute ergot toxicity HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors: Increased risk of severe myopathy or rhabdomyolysis.

pimozide: Possibly sudden death.

oral anticoagulants: Possibly potentiated effects of oral anticiagulants.

theophylline: Possibly increased blood theophylline level.

triazolam: Possibly decreased excretion and increased therapeutic effects of triazolam.

warfarin: Possibly increased anticoagulation.

Food :- Dramatically increased absorption rate of azithromycin.
