Ambrolite 2S 30mg/50mg Syrup is used for the treatment or prevention of the following disease(s):

Respiratory Diseases (Viscid or Excessive Mucus)

Side effects of Ambrolite 2S 30mg/50mg Syrup

The most common side effects of Ambrolite 2S 30mg/50mg Syrup are – Heartburn, Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhoea, Constipation, Fever, Muscle weakness

These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Precautions while using Ambrolite 2S 30mg/50mg Syrup

Do not use Ambrolite 2S 30mg/50mg Syrup if you are allergic to – Ambroxol, Guaifenesin

If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Ambrolite 2S 30mg/50mg Syrup.

If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.

How Ambrolite 2S 30mg/50mg Syrup works

Ambrolite 2S 30mg/50mg Syrup contains – Ambroxol, Guaifenesin

Ambroxol is a mucoactive drug with several properties including secretolytic and secretomotoric actions that restore the physiological clearance mechanisms of the respiratory tract which play an important role in the body’s natural defence mechanisms.

Guaifenesin works by thinning and loosening mucus in the airways, clearing congestion and making breathing easier.

Dosage of Ambrolite 2S 30mg/50mg Syrup

The dosage of Ambrolite 2S 30mg/50mg Syrup depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.

Overdose of Ambrolite 2S 30mg/50mg Syrup

If you forget to take a dose of Ambrolite 2S 30mg/50mg Syrup, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.
