Amlopin M 5mg/25mg Tablet is used for the treatment or prevention of the following disease(s):

Hypertension and Chronic Stable Angina

Side effects of Amlopin M 5mg/25mg Tablet

The most common side effects of Amlopin M 5mg/25mg Tablet are – Dizziness, Fatigue, Headache, Lethargy, Light-Headedness, Paresthesia, Dry Mouth, Pharyngitis, Abdominal Cramps, Abdominal Pain, Constipation, Diarrhea, Esophagitis, Indigestion, Nausea


These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Precautions while using Amlopin M 5mg/25mg Tablet

Do not use Amlopin M 5mg/25mg Tablet if you are allergic to – Amlodipine, Metoprolol

If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Amlopin M 5mg/25mg Tablet.

If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.

To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.

How Amlopin M 5mg/25mg Tablet works

Amlopin M 5mg/25mg Tablet contains – Amlodipine, Metoprolol

Amlodipine works by relaxing blood vessels so blood can flow more easily.

Metoprolol is a selective beta blocker that selectively blocks beta receptors, decreases cardiac output, peripheral resistance and cardiac oxygen consumption, and depresses renin secretion.

Dosage of Amlopin M 5mg/25mg Tablet

The dosage of Amlopin M 5mg/25mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.

Overdose of Amlopin M 5mg/25mg Tablet

If you forget to take a dose of Amlopin M 5mg/25mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interaction

Drug :- beta blockers: Possibly excessive hypotension.

fentanyl: Increased risk of severe hypotension and increased fluid volume requirements during surgery.
