Side effects of Arpizol 10mg Tablet

The most common side effects of Arpizol 10mg Tablet are - Depression, Dizziness, Headache, Insomnia, Lethargy, Paresthesia, Dry Mouth, Pharyngitis, Chest Pain, Hypertension, Abdominal or Pelvic Pain, Anorexia, Increased Appetite, Constipation, Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting

These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Precautions while using Arpizol 10mg Tablet

Do not use Arpizol 10mg Tablet if you are allergic to - Aripiprazole

If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Arpizol 10mg Tablet.

How Arpizol 10mg Tablet works

Arpizol 10mg Tablet contains - Aripiprazole

Aripiprazole may produce antipsychotic effects through partial agonist and antagonist actions. Aripiprazole acts as a partial agonist at dopamine especially D2 receptors and serotonin especially 5-HT1A receptors.The drug acts as an antagonist at 5-HT2A serotonin receptor sites.

Dosage of Arpizol 10mg Tablet

The dosage of Arpizol 10mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.

Overdose of Arpizol 10mg Tablet

If you forget to take a dose of Arpizol 10mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interaction

Drug :- anticholingerics: Increased risk for potentially fatal elevation of body temperature.

carbamazepine and other CYP3A4 inducers: Possibly increased clearance and decreased blood level of aripiprazole.

clarithromycin, fluoxetine, paroxetine, quinidine, and other CYP2D6 inhibitors, ketoconazole and other CYP3A4 inhibitors: Possibly inhibited aripiprazole elimination and increased blood level.

CNS depressants: Increased CNS depression.

Activity :- alcohol use: Increased CNS depression.
