How Asar 40mg Tablet works

Asar 40mg Tablet contains - Azilsartan

Azilsartan blocks vasoconstricting and aldosterone-secreting effects of angiotensin II by preventing angiotensin II from binding to angiotensin I receptors on vascular smooth muscle and the adrenal glands.

Dosage of Asar 40mg Tablet

The dosage of Asar 40mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Overdose of Asar 40mg Tablet

If you forget to take a dose of Asar 40mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interaction

Drug :- Aliskiren: May increase risk of renal impairment, hypotension, and hyperkalemia in diabetic patients.

Lithium: May increase lithium serum concentration. Lithium dosage reduction may be needed.

NSAIDs: May decrease renal function and azilsartan effectiveness. Monitor renal function and BP periodically.
