Angina Pectoris and Hypertension

Side effects of Atark 50mg Tablet

The most common side effects of Atark 50mg Tablet are – Dizziness, Drowsiness, Fatigue, Fever, Lethargy, Light-Headedness, Short-Term Memory Loss, Vertigo

These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Precautions while using Atark 50mg Tablet

Do not use Atark 50mg Tablet if you are allergic to – Atenolol

If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Atark 50mg Tablet.

If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.

To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.

How Atark 50mg Tablet works

Atark 50mg Tablet contains – Atenolol

Atenolol inhibits stimulation of beta1-receptor sites, located mainly in the heart, decreasing cardiac excitability, cardiac output, and myocardial oxygen demand. Atenolol also acts to decrease release of renin from the kidneys, aiding in reducing blood pressure.

Dosage of Atark 50mg Tablet

The dosage of Atark 50mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.

Overdose of Atark 50mg Tablet

If you forget to take a dose of Atark 50mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

If you notice any unusual reaction in your body after taking this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or call your local medical emergency number.

Drug :- amiodarone: Additive atenolol effects calcium channel blockers, such as verapamil and diltiazem: Possibly symptomatic bradycardia and conduction abnormalities.

catecholamine-depleting drugs, such as reserpine: Additive antihypertensive effect.

clonidine: Rebound hypertension.

disopyramide: Increased risk of severe bradycardia, asystole, and heart failure.
