Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

Side effects of Attera 10mg Tablet

The most common side effects of Attera 10mg Tablet are – Abdominal Pain, Epigastric Pain, Flatulence, Diarrhoea, Vomiting, Nausea, Constipation, Indigestion

These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Precautions while using Attera 10mg Tablet

Do not use Attera 10mg Tablet if you are allergic to – Atomoxetine

If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Attera 10mg Tablet.

If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.

To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.

How Attera 10mg Tablet works

Attera 10mg Tablet contains – Atomoxetine

Atomoxetine may be related to selective inhibition of the presynaptic norepinephrine transporter.

Dosage of Attera 10mg Tablet

The dosage of Attera 10mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.

Overdose of Attera 10mg Tablet

If you forget to take a dose of Attera 10mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

If you notice any unusual reaction in your body after taking this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or call your local medical emergency number.

Interaction

Drug :- Albuterol: May increase CV effects. Use together cautiously.

MAO inhibitors: May cause hyperthermia, rigidity, myoclonus, autonomic instability with possible rapid fluctuations of vital signs, and mental status changes. Avoid use within 2 weeks of MAO inhibitor.

Pressor agents: May increase BP. Use together cautiously.

Strong CYP2D6 inhibitors (paroxetine, fluoxetine, quinidine): May increase atomoxetine level.

Reduce first dose. Increase to the usual target dose of 80 mg only if signs and symptoms fail to improve after 4 weeks and the initial dose is well tolerated.
