The most common side effects of Biospas Plus 10mg/250mg Tablet are – Nausea, Dryness In Mouth, Nervousness, Weakness, Sleepiness, Dizziness, Blurred Vision
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while using Biospas Plus 10mg/250mg Tablet
Do not use Biospas Plus 10mg/250mg Tablet if you are allergic to – Dicyclomine, Mefenamic Acid
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Biospas Plus 10mg/250mg Tablet.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.

How Biospas Plus 10mg/250mg Tablet works
Biospas Plus 10mg/250mg Tablet contains – Dicyclomine, Mefenamic Acid
Dicyclomine works by slowing the natural movements of the gut and by relaxing the muscles in the stomach and intestines.
Mefenamic Acid involves inhibition of cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2).
Dosage of Biospas Plus 10mg/250mg Tablet
The dosage of Biospas Plus 10mg/250mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Overdose of Biospas Plus 10mg/250mg Tablet
If you forget to take a dose of Biospas Plus 10mg/250mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interaction
Drug :- adsorbent antidiarrheals, antacids: Decreased dicyclomine absorption.
amantadine, anticholinergics, phenothiazines, tricyclic antidepressants: Increased dicyclomine effects.
antimyasthenics: Reduced intestinal motility.
atenolol: Increased atenolol effects.
cyclopropane: Risk of ventricular arrhythmias.
haloperidol: Decreased antipsychotic effect of haloperidol.
ketoconazole: Decreased ketoconazole absorption.
metoclopramide: Decreased effect of metoclopramide on GI motility.
opioid analgesics: Increased risk of ileus, severe constipation, and urine retention potassium chloride, especially wax-matrix.
preparations: Possibly GI ulceration urinary alkalinizers.
antacids that contain calcium or magnesium, carbonic anhydrase inhibitors, citrates, sodium bicarbonate: Delayed excretion and increased risk of adverse effects of dicyclomine.
