The most common side effects of Bitatel M 40mg/50mg Tablet are - Nausea, Vomiting, Dizziness, Dryness In Mouth, Altered Taste, Abdominal Pain, Agitation, Anxiety, Fever, Constipation, Allergic Reaction, Impaired Concentration, Sweating, Headache

These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Do not use Bitatel M 40mg/50mg Tablet if you are allergic to - Telmisartan, Metoprolol

How Bitatel M 40mg/50mg Tablet works

Bitatel M 40mg/50mg Tablet contains - Telmisartan, Metoprolol

Telmisartan blocks angiotensin II from binding to receptor sites in many tissues, including vascular smooth muscle and adrenal glands. This action inhibits the vasoconstrictive and aldosterone-secreting effects of angiotensin II, which reduces blood pressure.

Metoprolol is a selective beta blocker that selectively blocks beta receptors, decreases cardiac output, peripheral resistance and cardiac oxygen consumption, and depresses renin secretion.

The dosage of Bitatel M 40mg/50mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

lithium: Increased serum lithium levels and toxicity.

ramipril: Increased serum ramipril level, decreased telmisartan level.
