Interactions
Drug :-
amantadine, levodopa: Increased adverse reactions to bupropion carbamazepine, cimetidine, phenobarbital, phenytoin: Increased bupropion metabolism
clozapine, fluoxetine, haloperidol, lithium, loxapine, maprotiline, molindone, phenothiazines, thioxanthenes, trazodone, tricyclic antidepressants: Increased risk of major
motor seizures.
levodopa: Increased adverse bupropion effects.
MAO inhibitors: Increased risk of acute bupropion toxicity.
nicotine: Possibly increased blood pressure.
warfarin: Possibly altered PT and INR, risk of hemorrhagic or thrombotic complications.
Activity :-
alcohol use, recreational drug abuse: Lowered seizure threshold.
