The most common side effects of Calmpose 5mg Tablet are – Fever, Headache, Insomnia, Pain, Abdominal Pain, Tenderness, Constipation, Diarrhea, Blurred vision, Nausea, Vomiting
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while using Calmpose 5mg Tablet
Do not use Calmpose 5mg Tablet if you are allergic to – Diazepam
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Calmpose 5mg Tablet.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.

How Calmpose 5mg Tablet works
Calmpose 5mg Tablet contains – Diazepam
Diazepam works by acting on receptors in the brain called GABA receptors. This causes the release of a neurotransmitter called GABA in the brain.

The dosage of Calmpose 5mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Overdose of Calmpose 5mg Tablet
If you forget to take a dose of Calmpose 5mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interaction
Drug :- antacids: Altered rate of diazepam absorption.
anticonvulsants: Decreased effectiveness of these drugs.
cimetidine, disulfiram, fluoxetine, fluvoxamine, isoniazid, itraconazole, ketoconazole, metoprolol, omeprazole, oral contraceptives, propoxyphene, propranolol, valproic acid: Decreased diazepam metabolism, increased blood level and risk of adverse effects.
CNS depressants: Increased CNS depression.
digoxin: Increased serum digoxin level and risk of digitalis toxicity.
levodopa: Decreased antidyskinetic effect of levodopa.
phenytoin: Decreased metabolic elimination of phenytoin, increased risk of adverse reactions.
probenecid: Faster onset or more prolonged effects of diazepam.
ranitidine: Delayed elimination and increased blood level of diazepam.
rifampin: Decreased blood diazepam level.
theophyllines: Antagonized sedative effect of diazepam.
Activity :- alcohol use: Increased CNS depression.
