The most common side effects of Capsy 500mg Tablet are - Dizziness, Fatigue, Headache, Insomnia, Paresthesia, Pyrexia, Lethargy, Peripheral Neuropathy, Asthenia, Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting, Stomatitis

These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Precautions while using Capsy 500mg Tablet

Do not use Capsy 500mg Tablet if you are allergic to - Capecitabine

How Capsy 500mg Tablet works

Capsy 500mg Tablet contains - Capecitabine

Capecitabine converted to active 5-FU, which causes cellular injury by interfering with DNA synthesis to inhibit cell division and with RNA processing and protein synthesis.

The dosage of Capsy 500mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Overdose of Capsy 500mg Tablet

Interaction

Drug :- Antacids containing aluminum hydroxide and magnesium hydroxide: May increase exposure to capecitabine and its metabolites. Monitor patient.

Fosphenytoin, phenytoin: May increase toxicity or fosphenytoin/phenytoin effect. Consider therapy modification or monitor phenytoin level.

Leucovorin: May increase cytotoxic effects of 5-FU with enhanced toxicity. Monitor patient carefully.
