Uses of Carmozyme Liquid

Carmozyme Liquid is used for the treatment or prevention of the following disease(s):

Indigestion, Intestinal disease.

Carmozyme Liquid helps to increase digestive power and prevents gastric problems.

Side effects of Carmozyme Liquid

The most common side effects of Carmozyme Liquid are – Fever, Headache, Insomnia, Sleep Disturbance, Chest Pain, Abdominal Pain, Constipation, Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting.

These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Precautions while using Carmozyme Liquid

Do not use Carmozyme Liquid if you are allergic to – Alcohol, Fungal Diastase, Hydrolysed Casein, Papain.

If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Carmozyme Liquid.

If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.

To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.

How Carmozyme Liquid works

Carmozyme Liquid contains – Alcohol, Fungal Diastase, Hydrolysed Casein, Papain.

1.  Alcohol – The amount of alcohol that has been used in Carmozyme Liquid can help in Gastric acid secretion and gastric release.

2. Fungal Diastase – It is used as an effective digestive aid. It helps in digesting carbohydrates and starch.

3. Hydrolysed Casein – It helps in digestion.

4. Papain – It improves digestion and helps treat diarrhoea and infection.

Dosage of Carmozyme Liquid

The dosage of Carmozyme Liquid depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.

Overdose of Carmozyme Liquid

If you forget to take a dose of Carmozyme Liquid, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.
