The most common side effects of Cataspa 50 mg/20 mg Tablet are – Nausea, Dryness In Mouth, Nervousness, Weakness, Sleepiness, Dizziness, Blurred Vision
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while using Cataspa 50 mg/20 mg Tablet
Do not use Cataspa 50 mg/20 mg Tablet if you are allergic to – Dicyclomine, Diclofenac
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Cataspa 50 mg/20 mg Tablet.

How Cataspa 50 mg/20 mg Tablet works
Cataspa 50 mg/20 mg Tablet contains – Dicyclomine, Diclofenac
Dicyclomine works by slowing the natural movements of the gut and by relaxing the muscles in the stomach and intestines.
Diclofenac works by blocking the action of a substance in the body called cyclo-oxygenase (COX), Diclofenac blocks the production of these prostaglandins and this reduces inflammation and pain.

The dosage of Cataspa 50 mg/20 mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Overdose of Cataspa 50 mg/20 mg Tablet
If you forget to take a dose of Cataspa 50 mg/20 mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interaction
Drug :- adsorbent antidiarrheals, antacids: Decreased dicyclomine absorption.
amantadine, anticholinergics, phenothiazines, tricyclic antidepressants: Increased dicyclomine effects.
antimyasthenics: Reduced intestinal motility.
atenolol: Increased atenolol effects.
cyclopropane: Risk of ventricular arrhythmias.
haloperidol: Decreased antipsychotic effect of haloperidol.
ketoconazole: Decreased ketoconazole absorption.
metoclopramide: Decreased effect of metoclopramide on GI motility.
opioid analgesics: Increased risk of ileus, severe constipation, and urine retention potassium chloride, especially wax-matrix.
preparations: Possibly GI ulceration urinary alkalinizers.
antacids that contain calcium or magnesium, carbonic anhydrase inhibitors, citrates, sodium bicarbonate: Delayed excretion and increased risk of adverse effects of dicyclomine.
