Clonapax 0.25mg Tablet MD is used for the treatment or prevention of the following disease(s):

Seizure Disorders (Absence Seizures or Lennox Gastaut Syndrome), Anxiety Disorder

Side effects of Clonapax 0.25mg Tablet MD

The most common side effects of Clonapax 0.25mg Tablet MD are – Dizziness, Fatigue, Headache, Lethargy, Light-Headedness, Paresthesia, Dry Mouth, Pharyngitis, Abdominal Cramps, Abdominal Pain, Constipation, Diarrhea, Esophagitis, Indigestion, Nausea

These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Precautions while using Clonapax 0.25mg Tablet MD

Do not use Clonapax 0.25mg Tablet MD if you are allergic to – Clonazepam

If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Clonapax 0.25mg Tablet MD.

If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.

To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.

How Clonapax 0.25mg Tablet MD works

Clonapax 0.25mg Tablet MD contains – Clonazepam

Clonazepam prevents seizures by potentiating the effects of gamma-aminobutyric acid GABA, which is an inhibitory neurotransmitter. Suppresses the spread of seizure activity caused by seizure-producing foci in the cortex, thalamus, and limbic structures.

Dosage of Clonapax 0.25mg Tablet MD

The dosage of Clonapax 0.25mg Tablet MD depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.

Overdose of Clonapax 0.25mg Tablet MD

If you forget to take a dose of Clonapax 0.25mg Tablet MD, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

If you notice any unusual reaction in your body after taking this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or call your local medical emergency number.

Drug :- antianxiety drugs, barbiturates, MAO inhibitors, opioids, phenothiazines, tricyclic antidepressants: Increased CNS depression.

Activity :- alcohol use: Increased CNS depression.
