Side effects of Clonil 10mg Tablet
The most common side effects of Clonil 10mg Tablet are – Dizziness, Runny or Stuffy Nose, Drowsiness, Dry Mouth, Headache
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while using Clonil 10mg Tablet
Do not use Clonil 10mg Tablet if you are allergic to – Clomipramine
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Clonil 10mg Tablet.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.
To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.
How Clonil 10mg Tablet works
Clonil 10mg Tablet contains – Clomipramine
Clomipramine may inhibit neuronal reuptake of norepinephrine and serotonin, which may be a factor in normalizing neurotransmission in obsessive-compulsive behavior.
Dosage of Clonil 10mg Tablet
The dosage of Clonil 10mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Overdose of Clonil 10mg Tablet
If you forget to take a dose of Clonil 10mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interaction
Drug :- anticholinergics: Increased anticholinergic effects.
barbiturates: Decreased level and effects of clomipramine, additive CNS depression.
bupropion, cimetidine, haloperidol, H2- receptor antagonists, selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors, valproic acid: Increased blood level and therapeutic and adverse effects of clomipramine.
carbamazepine: Decreased blood clomipramine level, increased carbamazepine level.
clonidine: Severely increased blood pressure and risk of hypertensive crisis.
CNS depressants: Increased CNS depression.
dicumarol: Increased anticoagulant effect.
grepafloxacin, quinolones, sparfloxacin: Increased risk of life-threatening arrhythmias.
guanethidine: Antagonized antihypertensive effect of guanethidine.
levodopa: Delayed absorption and decreased bioavailability of levodopa.
MAO inhibitors: Increased risk of seizures, coma, or death.
rifamycins: Decreased clomipramine level.
sympathomimetics: Possibly potentiated cardiovascular effects.
thyroid drugs: Increased effects of thyroid drugs and clomipramine.
Activity :- alcohol use: Increased CNS depression.
