Interaction
Drug :- adsorbent antidiarrheals, antacids: Decreased dicyclomine absorption.
amantadine, anticholinergics, phenothiazines, tricyclic antidepressants: Increased dicyclomine effects.
antimyasthenics: Reduced intestinal motility.
atenolol: Increased atenolol effects.
cyclopropane: Risk of ventricular arrhythmias.
haloperidol: Decreased antipsychotic effect of haloperidol.
ketoconazole: Decreased ketoconazole absorption.
metoclopramide: Decreased effect of metoclopramide on GI motility.
opioid analgesics: Increased risk of ileus, severe constipation, and urine retention potassium chloride, especially wax-matrix.
preparations: Possibly GI ulceration urinary alkalinizers.
antacids that contain calcium or magnesium, carbonic anhydrase inhibitors, citrates, sodium bicarbonate: Delayed excretion and increased risk of adverse effects of dicyclomine.
