Pancreatin is a mixture of several digestive enzymes produced by the exocrine cells of the pancreas. It is composed of amylase, lipase and protease. This mixture is used to treat conditions in which pancreatic secretions are deficient, such as surgical pancreatectomy, pancreatitis and cystic fibrosis.

Overdose of Creon 40000 CapsuleIf you forget to take a dose of Creon 40000 Capsule, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Precautions & Warnings
InteractionDrug :- acarbose, miglitol: Decreased effectiveness of these drugs.
aluminum hydroxide, H2-receptor antagonists, omeprazole, sodium bicarbonate: Increased gastric pH, prolonged enzymatic action of pancreatin calcium carbonate- and magnesium hydroxide-containing antacids: Decreased pancreatin effectiveness.
iron supplements: Decreased iron absorption.
