The most common side effects of CTD-T 40mg/12.5mg Tablet are – Headache, Back Pain, Dizziness, Atrial Fibrillation, Abdominal Pain, Diarrhea, Sinus Inflammation, Indigestion, Nausea, Vomiting
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while using CTD-T 40mg/12.5mg Tablet
Do not use CTD-T 40mg/12.5mg Tablet if you are allergic to – Telmisartan, Chlorthalidone

How CTD-T 40mg/12.5mg Tablet works
CTD-T 40mg/12.5mg Tablet contains – Telmisartan, Chlorthalidone
Telmisartan blocks angiotensin II from binding to receptor sites in many tissues, including vascular smooth muscle and adrenal glands. This action inhibits the vasoconstrictive and aldosterone-secreting effects of angiotensin II, which reduces blood pressure.
Chlorthalidone works by making the body lose excess water and salt.
Dosage of CTD-T 40mg/12.5mg Tablet
The dosage of CTD-T 40mg/12.5mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Overdose of CTD-T 40mg/12.5mg Tablet

Drug :- digoxin: Increased peak blood digoxin level and risk of digitalis toxicity.
diuretics, other antihypertensives: Enhanced hypotensive effect.
