Side effects of Cynomycin 50mg Capsule
The most common side effects of Cynomycin 50mg Capsule are – Dizziness, Mild Nausea, Mild Diarrhea, Upset Stomach, Muscle Pain, Skin Rash, Itching
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while using Cynomycin 50mg Capsule
Do not use Cynomycin 50mg Capsule if you are allergic to – Minocycline
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Cynomycin 50mg Capsule.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.
To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.
How Cynomycin 50mg Capsule works
Cynomycin 50mg Capsule contains – Minocycline
Minocycline may be bacteriostatic by binding to microorganism’s ribosomal subunits, inhibiting protein synthesis, may also alter the cytoplasmic membrane of susceptible microorganisms.
Dosage of Cynomycin 50mg Capsule
The dosage of Cynomycin 50mg Capsule depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.
Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.
Overdose of Cynomycin 50mg Capsule
If you forget to take a dose of Cynomycin 50mg Capsule, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interaction
Drug :- Antacids (including sodium bicarbonate) and laxatives containing aluminum, magnesium, or calcium, antidiarrheals: May decrease antibiotic absorption. Give antibiotic 1 hour before or 2 hours after these drugs.
Ferrous sulfate and other iron products, zinc: May decrease antibiotic absorption. Give drug 2 hours before or 3 hours after iron.
Hormonal contraceptives: May decrease contraceptive effectiveness and increase risk of breakthrough bleeding. Advise patient to use nonhormonal contraceptive.
Live-virus vaccines: May decrease vaccine effectiveness. Avoid administering together.
Methoxyflurane: May cause nephrotoxicity when given with tetracyclines. Avoid using together.
Oral anticoagulants: May increase anticoagulant effect. Monitor PT and INR, and adjust dosage.
Penicillins: May disrupt bactericidal action of penicillins. Avoid using together.
Retinoids: May increase risk of pseudotumor cerebri. Avoid administering together.
