Side effects of Dapnat 350mg Injection

The most common side effects of Dapnat 350mg Injection are – Anxiety, Confusion, Dizziness, Fever, Headache, Insomnia, Cardiac Failure, Chest Pain, Edema, Hypertension, Hypotension, Sore Throat

These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Precautions while using Dapnat 350mg Injection

Do not use Dapnat 350mg Injection if you are allergic to – Daptomycin

If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Dapnat 350mg Injection.

If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.

To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.

How Dapnat 350mg Injection works

Dapnat 350mg Injection contains – Daptomycin

Daptomycin binds to and depolarizes bacterial membranes to inhibit protein, DNA, and RNA synthesis, thus causing bacterial cell death.

Dosage of Dapnat 350mg Injection

The dosage of Dapnat 350mg Injection depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.

Overdose of Dapnat 350mg Injection

If you forget to take a dose of Dapnat 350mg Injection, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

If you notice any unusual reaction in your body after taking this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or call your local medical emergency number.

Drug :- HMG-CoA reductase inhibitors: May increase risk of myopathy. Consider stopping these drugs while giving daptomycin.

Tobramycin: May affect levels of both drugs. Use together cautiously.

Warfarin: May alter anticoagulant activity. Monitor PT and INR for the first several days of daptomycin therapy.
