How Depogen 150mg Injection worksDepogen 150mg Injection contains - Medroxyprogesterone
Medroxyprogesterone suppresses ovulation, possibly by inhibiting pituitary gonadotropin secretion, thus preventing follicular maturation and causing endometrial thinning.
Dosage of Depogen 150mg InjectionThe dosage of Depogen 150mg Injection depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Overdose of Depogen 150mg InjectionIf you forget to take a dose of Depogen 150mg Injection, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Precautions & Warnings
InteractionDrug :- Aminoglutethimide, carbamazepine, fosphenytoin, phenobarbital, phenytoin, rifampin, topiramate: May decrease progestin effects. Monitor patient for diminished therapeutic response. Tell patient to use a nonhormonal contraceptive during therapy with these drugs.
Anticonvulsants, corticosteroids: These drugs can also reduce bone mass. Monitor patient.
Herb :- St. John's wort: May decrease progestin effects. Avoid use together.
Food :- Caffeine: May increase caffeine level. Advise caution.
