Deviry 10mg Tablet is used for the treatment or prevention of the following disease(s):

Irregular Menstrual Periods, Abnormal Uterine Bleeding

Side effects of Deviry 10mg Tablet

The most common side effects of Deviry 10mg Tablet are – Anxiety, Depression, Fatigue, Insomnia, Somnolence, Dementia, Stroke, Pain, Dizziness, Headache, Bloating, Abdominal Pain, Nausea, Loss of Bone Mineral Density,
Breakthrough Bleeding, Dysmenorrhea, Amenorrhea, Cervical Erosion, Abnormal Secretions, Changes In Libido

These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Precautions while using Deviry 10mg Tablet

Do not use Deviry 10mg Tablet if you are allergic to – Medroxyprogesterone

If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Deviry 10mg Tablet.

If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.

To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.

How Deviry 10mg Tablet works

Deviry 10mg Tablet contains – Medroxyprogesterone

Medroxyprogesterone suppresses ovulation, possibly by inhibiting pituitary gonadotropin secretion, thus preventing follicular maturation and causing endometrial thinning.

Dosage of Deviry 10mg Tablet

The dosage of Deviry 10mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.

Overdose of Deviry 10mg Tablet

If you forget to take a dose of Deviry 10mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

If you notice any unusual reaction in your body after taking this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or call your local medical emergency number.

Drug :- Aminoglutethimide, carbamazepine, fosphenytoin, phenobarbital, phenytoin, rifampin, topiramate: May decrease progestin effects. Monitor patient for diminished therapeutic response. Tell patient to use a nonhormonal contraceptive during therapy with these drugs.

Anticonvulsants, corticosteroids: These drugs can also reduce bone mass. Monitor patient.

Herb :- St. John's wort: May decrease progestin effects. Avoid use together.

Food :- Caffeine: May increase caffeine level. Advise caution.
