Exemptia 40mg/0.8ml Injection is used for the treatment or prevention of the following disease(s):

Chronic Plaque Psoriasis, Crohn’s Disease, Ankylosing Spondylitis, Psoriatic Arthritis

Side effects of Exemptia 40mg/0.8ml Injection

The most common side effects of Exemptia 40mg/0.8ml Injection are – Weakness , Nausea, Vomiting, Diarrhea, Chest pain, Sore throat

These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Precautions while using Exemptia 40mg/0.8ml Injection

Do not use Exemptia 40mg/0.8ml Injection if you are allergic to – Adalimumab

If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Exemptia 40mg/0.8ml Injection.

How Exemptia 40mg/0.8ml Injection works

Exemptia 40mg/0.8ml Injection contains – Adalimumab

Adalimumab binds to TNF-alpha and blocks its interaction with the p55 and p75 cell surface TNF receptors. Adalimumab also lyses surface TNF expressing cells in vitro in the presence of complement.

Dosage of Exemptia 40mg/0.8ml Injection

The dosage of Exemptia 40mg/0.8ml Injection depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Overdose of Exemptia 40mg/0.8ml Injection

Interaction

Drug :- Abatacept, anakinra, immunosuppressive therapy may increase risk of infections.

May decrease efficacy of immune response with live vaccines (should not give concurrently).

Drug :- Echinacea may decrease effects.
