Forecox -150 Tablet is used for the treatment or prevention of the following disease(s):

Tuberculosis

Side effects of Forecox -150 Tablet

The most common side effects of Forecox -150 Tablet are – Nausea, Fever, Loss of Appetite, Rash, Vomiting

These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Precautions while using Forecox -150 Tablet

Do not use Forecox -150 Tablet if you are allergic to – Isoniazid, Rifampicin, Ethambutol, Pyrazinamide

If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Forecox -150 Tablet.

If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.

To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.

How Forecox -150 Tablet works

Forecox -150 Tablet contains – Isoniazid, Rifampicin, Ethambutol, Pyrazinamide

Isoniazid works by killing the bacteria that causes Tuberculosis.

Rifampicin inhibits bacterial and mycobacterial RNA synthesis by binding to DNA-dependent RNA polymerase, thereby blocking RNA transcription. Exhibits dose-dependent bactericidal or bacteriostatic action.

Ethambutol may suppress bacterial multiplication by interfering with RNA synthesis in susceptible bacteria that are actively dividing.

Dosage of Forecox -150 Tablet

The dosage of Forecox -150 Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Overdose of Forecox -150 Tablet

If you forget to take a dose of Forecox -150 Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.
