Glemont 10mg Tablet is used to treat and prevent diseases caused by asthma such as difficulty in breathing, coughing, wheezing. It is also used to prevent and treat symptoms of seasonal allergies such as runny or itchy nose, watery or itchy eyes, wheezing, throat irritation.

How Glemont 10mg Tablet works.

Glemont 10mg Tablet is a highly selective leukotriene receptor antagonist that acts by inhibiting the leukotriene receptors found in airway cells. by which it reduces inflammation in the airways and cures the symptoms of respiratory diseases.

Side Effects of Glemont 10mg Tablet

The most common side effects of Glemont 10mg Tablet are Headach, Nausea, Diarrhea, Dizziness, Fatigue, Fever, Rash, Nasal Congestion, Abdominal Pain.
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Interaction

Drug :-Gemfibrozil: May increase montelukast plasma concentration. Adjust montelukast dosage as needed.

Phenobarbital, rifampin: May decrease bioavailability of montelukast because of hepatic metabolism induction. Monitor patient for effectiveness.
