The most common side effects of Gluconorm P 30 mg/500 mg Tablet ER are - Headache, Congestive Heart Failure, Edema, Blurred Vision, Decreased Visual Acuity, Macular Edema, Pharyngitis, Sinusitis, Tooth Disorders, Fractures, Myalgia

These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Do not use Gluconorm P 30 mg/500 mg Tablet ER if you are allergic to - Pioglitazone, Metformin

Gluconorm P 30 mg/500 mg Tablet ER contains - Pioglitazone, Metformin

Pioglitazone works by increasing the body's sensitivity to insulin, a natural substance that helps control blood sugar levels.

Metformin decreases hepatic glucose production, decreases intestinal absorption of glucose and improves insulin sensitivity by increasing peripheral glucose uptake and utilization.

Interaction

Drug :- gemfibrozil, rifampin: Possibly altered glucose control.

ketoconazole: Possibly decreased metabolism of pioglitazone.
