Cefaclor interferes with bacterial cell wall synthesis by inhibiting cross-linking of peptidoglycan strands, which stiffen cell membranes. As a result, bacterial cells rupture.

InteractionDrug :- aminoglycosides, loop diuretics: Increased risk of nephrotoxicity.
antacids: Decreased blood cefaclor level.
oral anticoagulants: Increased anticoagulation.
