The most common side effects of Lipocut 120mg Capsule are – Nausea, Vomiting, Dizziness, Oily Stools, Flatulence, Gas

These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Precautions while using Lipocut 120mg Capsule

Do not use Lipocut 120mg Capsule if you are allergic to – Orlistat

If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Lipocut 120mg Capsule.

If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.

To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.

How Lipocut 120mg Capsule works

Lipocut 120mg Capsule contains – Orlistat

Orlistat works by blocking chemicals (enzymes) in gut which digest fat, Nearly a third of the fat that you eat is blocked by orlistat. The undigested fat is not absorbed into body and is passed out with your stools (faeces).

Dosage of Lipocut 120mg Capsule

The dosage of Lipocut 120mg Capsule depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.

Overdose of Lipocut 120mg Capsule

If you forget to take a dose of Lipocut 120mg Capsule, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interaction

Drug :- cyclosporine: Altered cyclosporine absorption.

fat-soluble vitamins: Decreased vitamin absorption, especially vitamin E and betacarotene.

levothyroxine: Possibly decreased levothyroxineb effectiveness, resulting in hypothyroidism.

pravastatin: Potentiated lipid-lowering effect.
