How Logout 100mg Tablet works

Logout 100mg Tablet contains - Allopurinol

Allopurinol inhibits uric acid production by inhibiting xanthine oxidase, the enzyme that converts hypoxanthine and xanthine to uric acid. Allopurinol is metabolized to oxipurinol, which also inhibits xanthine oxidase.

Dosage of Logout 100mg Tablet

The dosage of Logout 100mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.

Overdose of Logout 100mg Tablet

If you forget to take a dose of Logout 100mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interaction

Drug :- ACE Inhibitors: Increased risk of hypersensitivity reactions.

Amoxicillin, Ampicillin: Increased risk of rash.

Azathioprine, Mercaptopurine: Inactivation of these drugs.

Chlorpropamide: Increased risk of hypoglycemia in patients with renal insufficiency.

Cyclophosphamide, other Cytotoxic drugs: Enhanced bone marrow suppression.

Dicumarol: Increased half-life and anticoagulant action of dicumarol.

Thiazide Duretics: Possibly increased risk of allopurinol toxicity.

Uricosuric agents: Increased urinary excretion of uric acid.

Vitamin C large doses: Possibly urine acidification and increased risk of renal calculus formation.
