The most common side effects of Macarbi CH 40mg/12.5mg Tablet are - Fever, Headache, Insomnia, Pain, Abdominal Pain, Tenderness, Constipation, Diarrhea, Blurred vision, Nausea, Vomiting
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while taking Macarbi CH 40mg/12.5mg Tablet
Do not use Macarbi CH 40mg/12.5mg Tablet if you are allergic to - Azilsartan, Chlorthalidone
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Macarbi CH 40mg/12.5mg Tablet.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Dosage of Macarbi CH 40mg/12.5mg Tablet
Macarbi CH 40mg/12.5mg Tablet contains - Azilsartan, Chlorthalidone
Azilsartan blocks vasoconstricting and aldosterone-secreting effects of angiotensin II by preventing angiotensin II from binding to angiotensin I receptors on vascular smooth muscle and the adrenal glands.
Chlorthalidone works by making the body lose excess water and salt.
Overdose of Macarbi CH 40mg/12.5mg Tablet
The dosage of Macarbi CH 40mg/12.5mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Onset of Action of Macarbi CH 40mg/12.5mg Tablet
If you forget to take a dose of Macarbi CH 40mg/12.5mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interactions
Drug :- Aliskiren:
May increase risk of renal impairment, hypotension, and hyperkalemia in
diabetic patients.
Lithium:
May increase lithium serum concentration. Lithium dosage reduction may be needed.
NSAIDs:
May decrease renal function and azilsartan effectiveness. Monitor renal function and BP
periodically.
