The most common side effects of Manicarb 300mg Tablet are – Fatigue, Lethargy, Coma, Dizziness, Drowsiness, Vomiting, Anorexia, Diarrhea, Thirst, Nausea, Headache, Confusion, Restlessness, Impaired Speech, Ataxia, Dry Mouth, Abdominal Pain
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Do not use Manicarb 300mg Tablet if you are allergic to – Lithium
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Manicarb 300mg Tablet.

Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.
To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.

Manicarb 300mg Tablet contains – Lithium
Lithium probably alters chemical transmitters in the CNS, possibly by interfering with ionic pump mechanisms in brain cells, and may compete with or replace sodium ions.

The dosage of Manicarb 300mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Overdose of Manicarb 300mg Tablet
If you forget to take a dose of Manicarb 300mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interaction
Drug :- ACE inhibitors: May increase lithium level. Monitor lithium level, adjust lithium dosage, as needed.
Aminophylline, sodium bicarbonate, urine alkalinizers: May increase lithium excretion. Avoid excessive salt, and monitor lithium levels.
Antiarrhythmics and other drugs that prolong QT interval: May increase risk of life-threatening arrhythmias. Avoid use together.
Food :- Caffeine: May decrease lithium level and drug effect. Advise patient who ingests large amounts of caffeine to tell prescriber before stopping caffeine. Adjust lithium dosage, as needed.
Sodium (salt): May change renal elimination of drug if sodium intake changes. Avoid major changes in sodium intake.
