Alcohol

Don't consume alcohol while taking this medicine; it may increase the risk of drowsiness; dizziness or faintness.

Pregnancy

Interactions

Drug :-ACE inhibitors: May increase risk of swelling and hives with concomitant use. Monitor patient.

CNS depressants: May have additive effects on cognitive and gross motor function. Monitor patient for increased dizziness and somnolence.

Pioglitazone, rosiglitazone: May cause additive fluid retention and weight gain. Monitor patient closely.
