The most common side effects of Meva C 135mg/5mg Capsule are - Dizziness, Throat Irritation, Headache, Nausea, Flatulence, Hiccup, Dryness In Mouth, Indigestion

These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Meva C 135mg/5mg Capsule contains - Mebeverine, Chlordiazepoxide

Mebeverine appears to work directly on smooth muscle within the gastrointestinal tract and may have an anesthetic effect, may affect calcium channels and may affect muscarinic receptors.

Chlordiazepoxide works by acting on receptors in the brain called GABA receptors. This causes the release of a neurotransmitter called GABA in the brain, GABA is a neurotransmitter that acts as a natural 'nerve-calming' agent.

The dosage of Meva C 135mg/5mg Capsule depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.
