Precautions while using Mezolam 7.5mg InjectionDo not use Mezolam 7.5mg Injection if you are allergic to - Midazolam
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Mezolam 7.5mg Injection.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.

How Mezolam 7.5mg Injection worksMezolam 7.5mg Injection contains - Midazolam
Midazolam may potentiate the effects of GABA, depress the CNS and suppress the spread of seizure activity.
Dosage of Mezolam 7.5mg InjectionThe dosage of Mezolam 7.5mg Injection depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.
Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.
Overdose of Mezolam 7.5mg InjectionIf you forget to take a dose of Mezolam 7.5mg Injection, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.
If you notice any unusual reaction in your body after taking this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or call your local medical emergency number.
Precautions & Warnings
InteractionDrug :- Cimetidine: May increase and prolong sedation. Avoid use together.
CNS depressants: May cause apnea. Use together cautiously. Adjust dosage of midazolam if used with opiates or other CNS depressants.
Diltiazem: May increase CNS depression and prolong effects of midazolam. Use lower dose of midazolam.
Erythromycin: May alter metabolism of midazolam. Use together cautiously.
Fluconazole, itraconazole, ketoconazole, miconazole: May increase and prolong midazolam level, CNS depression, and psychomotor impairment. Avoid using together. If must be given together, monitor patient closely.
Hormonal contraceptives: May prolong half-life of midazolam. Use together cautiously.
Protease inhibitors (ritonavir, saquinavir): May increase midazolam level. Use together cautiously.
Theophylline: May antagonize sedative effect of midazolam. Use together cautiously.
Verapamil: May increase midazolam level. Monitor patient closely.
Herb :- Ginkgo biloba, St. John's wort: May decrease drug level. Discourage use together.
Food :- Grapefruit juice: May increase bioavailability of oral drug. Don't use together.
