Side effects of Minonil 65mg Tablet ER
The most common side effects of Minonil 65mg Tablet ER are – Dizziness, Mild Nausea, Mild Diarrhea, Upset Stomach, Muscle Pain, Skin Rash, Itching
These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.
Precautions while using Minonil 65mg Tablet ER
Do not use Minonil 65mg Tablet ER if you are allergic to – Minocycline
If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Minonil 65mg Tablet ER.
If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.
Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.
To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.
How Minonil 65mg Tablet ER works
Minonil 65mg Tablet ER contains – Minocycline
Minocycline may be bacteriostatic by binding to microorganism’s ribosomal subunits, inhibiting protein synthesis, may also alter the cytoplasmic membrane of susceptible microorganisms.
Dosage of Minonil 65mg Tablet ER
The dosage of Minonil 65mg Tablet ER depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.
Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.
Overdose of Minonil 65mg Tablet ER
If you forget to take a dose of Minonil 65mg Tablet ER, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interaction
Drug :- Antacids (including sodium bicarbonate) and laxatives containing aluminum, magnesium, or calcium, antidiarrheals: May decrease antibiotic absorption. Give antibiotic 1 hour before or 2 hours after these drugs.
Ferrous sulfate and other iron products, zinc: May decrease antibiotic absorption. Give drug 2 hours before or 3 hours after iron.
Hormonal contraceptives: May decrease contraceptive effectiveness and increase risk of breakthrough bleeding. Advise patient to use nonhormonal contraceptive.
Live-virus vaccines: May decrease vaccine effectiveness. Avoid administering together.
Methoxyflurane: May cause nephrotoxicity when given with tetracyclines. Avoid using together.
Oral anticoagulants: May increase anticoagulant effect. Monitor PT and INR, and adjust dosage.
Penicillins: May disrupt bactericidal action of penicillins. Avoid using together.
Retinoids: May increase risk of pseudotumor cerebri. Avoid administering together.
