Interactions

Drug :- Diazepam, other CNS depressants: May cause additive CNS effects. Avoid using together.

Alert: Linezolid, methylene blue, rasagiline: May cause serotonin syndrome. Use extreme caution and monitor patient closely.

Alert: MAO inhibitors: May sometimes cause fatal reactions. Avoid using within 14 days of MAO inhibitor therapy.

Warfarin: May increase anticoagulant effect. Closely monitor INR when mirtazapine is started or stopped, and adjust warfarin dosage as needed.

Herb :- St. John's wort: May increase risk of serotonin syndrome. Use together cautiously and monitor patient closely for adverse reactions.
