Amoxicillin kills bacteria by binding to and inactivating penicillin-binding proteins on the inner bacterial cell wall, weakening the bacterial cell wall and causing lysis.
Dosage of Mox P 500mg TabletThe dosage of Mox P 500mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Overdose of Mox P 500mg TabletIf you forget to take a dose of Mox P 500mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

InteractionDrug :- allopurinol: Increased risk of rash.
chloramphenicol, erythromycins, sulfonamides, tetracyclines: Reduced bactericidal effect of amoxicillin.
methotrexate: Increased risk of methotrexate toxicity.
oral contraceptives with estrogen: Possibly reduced effectiveness of contraceptive.
probenecid: Increased amoxicillin effects.
