Uses of Moxy Plus CV 250mg/125mg Tablet

Moxy Plus CV 250mg/125mg Tablet is an antibiotic medicine used to treat infections caused by bacteria, such as Infections of the ear, nose, throat, genitourinary tract, skin and skin structure, and lower respiratory tract.

Moxy Plus CV 250mg/125mg Tablet is also used for the treatment of H. pylori infection and ulcer disease.

Side effects of Moxy Plus CV 250mg/125mg Tablet

The most common side effects of Moxy Plus CV 250mg/125mg Tablet are – Nausea, Vomiting, diarrhea, rash, changes in taste, headache.

These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Precautions while using Moxy Plus CV 250mg/125mg Tablet

Do not use Moxy Plus CV 250mg/125mg Tablet if you are allergic to – Amoxicillin and Clavulanic Acid

Clavulanic Acid works by preventing bacteria from destroying amoxicillin.

Dosage of Moxy Plus CV 250mg/125mg Tablet

The dosage of Moxy Plus CV 250mg/125mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Moxy Plus CV 250mg/125mg Tablet is usually taken every 12 hours (twice a day) or every 8 hours (three times a day) with or without food.

Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.

Overdose of Moxy Plus CV 250mg/125mg Tablet

If you forget to take a dose of Moxy Plus CV 250mg/125mg Tablet, take the missed dose as soon as you remember it. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and continue your regular dosing schedule. do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Symptoms of overdose with Moxy Plus CV 250mg/125mg Tablet – cloudy or bloody urine, decreased urination, swelling of any part of the body, confusion, nausea, vomiting.

If you notice any unusual reaction in your body after taking this medicine, contact your doctor immediately or call your local medical emergency number.

Interaction

Drug :- allopurinol: Increased risk of rash.

chloramphenicol, erythromycins, sulfonamides, tetracyclines: Reduced bactericidal effect of amoxicillin.

methotrexate: Increased risk of methotrexate toxicity.

oral contraceptives with estrogen: Possibly reduced effectiveness of contraceptive.

probenecid: Increased amoxicillin effects.
