Mypred 40mg Injection is used for the treatment or prevention of the following disease(s):

Arthritis, Blood Disorders, Skin or Kidney or Intestinal or Lung Diseases, Immune System Disorders, Severe Allergic Reactions, Certain Cancers, Eye Conditions

Side effects of Mypred 40mg Injection

The most common side effects of Mypred 40mg Injection are – Vertigo, Headache, Depression, Syncope, Personality Changes, Paresthesia, Euphoria, Insomnia, Psychotic Behavior, Pseudotumor Cerebri, Seizures, Malaise, Emotional Instability, Hypertension, Tachycardia, Syncope

These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Precautions while using Mypred 40mg Injection

Do not use Mypred 40mg Injection if you are allergic to – Methylprednisolone

If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Mypred 40mg Injection.

If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.

To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.

How Mypred 40mg Injection works

Mypred 40mg Injection contains – Methylprednisolone

Methylprednisolone decreases inflammation, mainly by stabilizing leukocyte lysosomal membranes, suppresses immune response, stimulates bone marrow and influences protein, fat, and carbohydrate metabolism.

Dosage of Mypred 40mg Injection

The dosage of Mypred 40mg Injection depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.

Overdose of Mypred 40mg Injection

If you forget to take a dose of Mypred 40mg Injection, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.
