Nimek Spas 10mg/100mg Tablet is used for the treatment or prevention of the following disease(s):

Diarrhea and GI Tract Spasms

Side effects of Nimek Spas 10mg/100mg Tablet

The most common side effects of Nimek Spas 10mg/100mg Tablet are – Nausea, Dryness In Mouth, Nervousness, Weakness, Sleepiness, Dizziness, Blurred Vision

These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Precautions while using Nimek Spas 10mg/100mg Tablet

Do not use Nimek Spas 10mg/100mg Tablet if you are allergic to – Dicyclomine, Nimesulide

If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Nimek Spas 10mg/100mg Tablet.

If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.

To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.

How Nimek Spas 10mg/100mg Tablet works

Nimek Spas 10mg/100mg Tablet contains – Dicyclomine, Nimesulide

Dicyclomine works by slowing the natural movements of the gut and by relaxing the muscles in the stomach and intestines.

Nimesulide is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug with pain medication and fever reducing properties. Its approved indications are the treatment of acute pain, the symptomatic treatment of osteoarthritis, and primary dysmenorrhoea in adolescents and adults above 12 years old.

The dosage of Nimek Spas 10mg/100mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.

Overdose of Nimek Spas 10mg/100mg Tablet

If you forget to take a dose of Nimek Spas 10mg/100mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interaction

Drug :- adsorbent antidiarrheals, antacids: Decreased dicyclomine absorption.

amantadine, anticholinergics, phenothiazines, tricyclic antidepressants: Increased dicyclomine effects.

antimyasthenics: Reduced intestinal motility.

atenolol: Increased atenolol effects.

cyclopropane: Risk of ventricular arrhythmias.

haloperidol: Decreased antipsychotic effect of haloperidol.

ketoconazole: Decreased ketoconazole absorption.

metoclopramide: Decreased effect of metoclopramide on GI motility.

opioid analgesics: Increased risk of ileus, severe constipation, and urine retention potassium chloride, especially wax-matrix.

preparations: Possibly GI ulceration urinary alkalinizers.

antacids that contain calcium or magnesium, carbonic anhydrase inhibitors, citrates, sodium bicarbonate: Delayed excretion and increased risk of adverse effects of dicyclomine.
