How Nitrolong 2.6mg Tablet CR worksNitrolong 2.6mg Tablet CR contains - Nitroglycerin/Glyceryl Trinitrate
Nitroglycerin reduces cardiac oxygen demand by decreasing left ventricular end-diastolic pressure and to a lesser extent, systemic vascular resistance. Also increases blood flow through the collateral coronary vessels.
Dosage of Nitrolong 2.6mg Tablet CRThe dosage of Nitrolong 2.6mg Tablet CR depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.
Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.
Overdose of Nitrolong 2.6mg Tablet CRIf you forget to take a dose of Nitrolong 2.6mg Tablet CR, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

InteractionDrug :- Alteplase: May decrease tissue plasminogen activator antigen level. Avoid using together, if unavoidable, use lowest effective dose of nitroglycerin.
Antihypertensives: May increase hypotensive effect. Monitor BP closely.
Heparin: I.V. nitroglycerin may interfere with anticoagulant effect of heparin. Monitor PTT.
Riociguat: May cause hypotension. Avoid use together.
Sildenafil, tadalafil, vardenafil: May cause severe hypotension. Use of nitrates in any form with these drugs is contraindicated.
