Gastric Ulcer, Heartburn, Indigestion

Side effects of Noacid 20mg Capsule

The most common side effects of Noacid 20mg Capsule are – Headache, Confusion, Constipation, Diarrhea, Dizziness

These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Precautions while using Noacid 20mg Capsule

Do not use Noacid 20mg Capsule if you are allergic to – Famotidine

If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Noacid 20mg Capsule.

If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.

How Noacid 20mg Capsule works

Noacid 20mg Capsule contains – Famotidine

Famotidine works by blocking histamine H2 receptors that are found on the cells in the stomach lining. A natural body chemical called histamine normally binds to these receptors, causing the cells to produce stomach acid.

Dosage of Noacid 20mg Capsule

The dosage of Noacid 20mg Capsule depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Overdose of Noacid 20mg Capsule

If you forget to take a dose of Noacid 20mg Capsule, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interaction

Drug :- antacids, sucralfate: Possibly decreased absorption of famotidine.

bone marrow depressants: Increased risk of blood dyscrasias.

itraconazole, ketoconazole: Possibly decreased absorption of these drugs.

Activity :- alcohol use: Possibly increased blood alcohol level.
