Normax 400mg Tablet is used for the treatment or prevention of the following disease(s):

Bacterial Infections (Infections of Urinary Tract, Tonsils, Sinus, Nose, Throat, Female Genital Organ, Skin and Soft Tissues, Windpipe and Lungs)

Side effects of Normax 400mg Tablet

The most common side effects of Normax 400mg Tablet are - Nausea, Allergic Reaction, Diarrhoea, Back pain, Stomach Cramps, Heartburn

These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Precautions while using Normax 400mg Tablet

Do not use Normax 400mg Tablet if you are allergic to - Norfloxacin

How Normax 400mg Tablet works

Normax 400mg Tablet contains - Norfloxacin

Norfloxacin works by killing or stopping the growth of bacteria. It blocks DNA gyrase enzyme, which is responsible for the production and repair of bacterial DNA. If this enzyme doesn't work, the bacteria cannot reproduce or repair themselves. This causes bacteria to die and prevents infection from worsening.

Dosage of Normax 400mg Tablet

The dosage of Normax 400mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.

Overdose of Normax 400mg Tablet

If you forget to take a dose of Normax 400mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.
