The most common side effects of Numox LB Kid 125mg/125mg/60Million spores Tablet are – Allergic Reaction, Anaphylaxis, Fever, Rash , Jaundice, Hepatic Dysfunction, Nausea, Vomiting

How Numox LB Kid 125mg/125mg/60Million spores Tablet works

Numox LB Kid 125mg/125mg/60Million spores Tablet contains – Amoxicillin, Cloxacillin, Lactobacillus Million spores

Amoxicillin kills bacteria by binding to and inactivating penicillin-binding proteins on the inner bacterial cell wall, weakening the bacterial cell wall and causing lysis.

Cloxacillin inhibits cell wall synthesis and causes cell lysis and death in bacteria that make rigid, cross-linked cell walls in several steps. Cloxacillin affects the final stage of crosslinking by binding with and inactivating penicillin-binding protein, the enzyme that causes linkage in cell wall strands.

Interaction

Drug :- allopurinol: Increased risk of rash.

chloramphenicol, erythromycins, sulfonamides, tetracyclines: Reduced bactericidal effect of amoxicillin.

methotrexate: Increased risk of methotrexate toxicity.

oral contraceptives with estrogen: Possibly reduced effectiveness of contraceptive.

probenecid: Increased amoxicillin effects.
