The most common side effects of Onoff 200mg Tablet are – Nausea, Vomiting, Dizziness, Dryness In Mouth, Altered Taste, Abdominal Pain, Agitation, Anxiety, Fever, Constipation, Allergic Reaction, Impaired Concentration, Sweating, Headache


These side effects can usually occur in patients. However, these are only indicative and not all patients will experience them.

Precautions while using Onoff 200mg Tablet

Do not use Onoff 200mg Tablet if you are allergic to – Ofloxacin

If you have heart disease, liver or kidney disease, drug or alcohol addiction, consult your doctor before using Onoff 200mg Tablet.

If you are allergic to any medicine or food, consult your doctor before using this medicine.

Use this medicine under the supervision of your doctor.

To avoid an adverse reaction, consult your doctor if you are already taking other medicines.

How Onoff 200mg Tablet works

Onoff 200mg Tablet contains – Ofloxacin

Ofloxacin inhibits synthesis of the bacterial enzyme DNA gyrase by counteracting excessive supercoiling of DNA during replication or transcription. Inhibition of DNA gyrase
causes rapid- and slow-growing bacterial cells to die.

Dosage of Onoff 200mg Tablet

The dosage of Onoff 200mg Tablet depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Please use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor.

Overdose of Onoff 200mg Tablet

If you forget to take a dose of Onoff 200mg Tablet, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interaction

Drug :- aluminum-, calcium-, or magnesiumcontaining antacids, didanosine, ferrous sulfate, magnesium-containing laxatives, multivitamins, sevelamer, sucralfate, zinc: Decreased absorption of oral ofloxacin.

probenecid: Decreased ofloxacin excretion, increased risk of toxicity.

procainamide: Decreased renal clearance of procainamide.

warfarin: Possibly increased anticoagulant activity and risk of bleeding.
