The most common side effects of Osta D3 600000IU Injection are – Headache, Somnolence, Weakness, Irritability, Hypertension, Arrhythmias, Nausea, Vomiting, Constipation, Polydipsia, Pancreatitis

Precautions while using Osta D3 600000IU Injection

Do not use Osta D3 600000IU Injection if you are allergic to – Calcitriol IU

Osta D3 600000IU Injection contains – Calcitriol IU

Calcitriol stimulates calcium absorption from the GI tract and promotes movement of calcium from bone to blood.

The dosage of Osta D3 600000IU Injection depends on many factors such as the patient age, health, medical condition or history of the patient and many other conditions.

Overdose of Osta D3 600000IU Injection

If you forget to take a dose of Osta D3 600000IU Injection, do not take two doses at the same time, there is a risk of overdose.

Interaction

Drug :- Cardiac glycosides: May increase risk of arrhythmias. Use together cautiously.

Cholestyramine, colestipol, excessive use of mineral oil: May decrease absorption of oral vitamin D analogues. Avoid using together.

Corticosteroids: May counteract vitamin D analogue effects. Avoid using together.

Magnesium-containing antacids: May cause hypermagnesemia, especially in patients with chronic renal failure. Avoid using together.

Phenobarbital, phenytoin: May inhibit calcitriol synthesis. Dose may need to be increased.

Thiazides: May cause hypercalcemia. Use together cautiously.
